When posting a new topic, replying, or editing your signature, you can insert hyperlinks. You can simply type out the web address right into your post, or you can hyperlink a set of words. Here's how to do the latter:

Select the text that you want hyperlinked, e.g., Catholic Bishops. Then click on the button that says URL. Your text will then look like this (but without all the extra spaces):

[ URL ] Catholic Bishops [ /URL ]

Now add an equal sign followed by the hyperlink. Don't forget to type "http://" at the beginning. Your text should look like this (again without all the extra spaces):

[ URL=http://usccb.org ] Catholic Bishops [ /URL ]

When you preview or submit your post, the text will be hyperlinked without displaying the whole link address.

To use other codes when you are posting something, just hover over the code button or font color and a "tip" on how to use it will appear just above the box you are typing in.
